At Salana Athletica, we are committed to delivering performance eyewear of the utmost quality, and in the event of any issues, we are dedicated to resolving them promptly. Each of our products is covered by a comprehensive 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, ensuring protection against manufacturing defects. We also strive to provide repair options for products damaged due to normal wear and tear at reasonable prices.

What is covered by the warranty?

Our warranty covers the following:

  • Manufacturing defects in sunglasses or goggles, including issues with lenses, frames, temples, straps, or screws.
  • Products that arrive with any visible marks, scratches, or discoloration. If you receive a damaged product, please inform us immediately with photographic evidence.

 

What is not covered by the warranty?

While our warranty offers extensive coverage, certain circumstances are excluded:

  • Normal wear and tear, such as scratches or marks on frames and lenses, and the natural degradation of goggle straps over time.
  • Damage caused by improper use or storage, neglect, or accidents.
  • Damage resulting from exposure to solvents or chemicals, including sunscreen, hair spray, alcohol, etc.
  • Melting of frames due to excessive heat.
  • Fogging of lenses caused by perspiration.
  • Degradation or delamination of lenses due to exposure to chemicals, saltwater, pool chemicals, etc.
  • Loss or theft of goods after delivery. Once a shipping carrier marks the shipment as "Delivered," the order is considered complete.

 

 

How to initiate a warranty claim?

To start a warranty claim, kindly follow these steps:

  • Send an email to customer.service@salanaathletica.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim."
  • In the email, provide your name, order number, and a detailed description of the issue.
  • Include photo documentation clearly showcasing the defect.

Upon evaluation, if your product is deemed defective under the 2-year warranty, we will take the following steps:

  • You will receive either the required replacement part or a pre-paid return label to send the item back. Please note that in some countries, we may not be able to offer pre-paid return labels, in which case we will cover the cost via a direct transfer.
  • If the product received back is confirmed to be defective, we will send you a new product free of charge. Kindly note that this warranty only entitles you to a replacement. Refunds are no longer possible once the 28-day return period has expired or if the product has been used.
